You’re invited to our Big Fat Cretan Wedding! 💙
In October 2008, fate quite literally bumped us into each other in the hallway of high school, and to this day we still debate who walked into whom. A few months later, on 17 February 2009, Tim sealed the deal by asking Alex to be his girlfriend… over MSN Messenger. (Feeling old yet if you remember those days?)
Fast forward 17 years and countless adventures later, from building a life together in Rotterdam, Dublin, and Amsterdam to exploring 29 countries around the world, we are now ready to celebrate the next chapter of our story.
As many of you know, Alex’s fiery temper might have given it away: she’s half Greek and from the beautiful island of Crete, the place where we took our very first holiday together when Tim was 16 and Alex was 18. Crete also holds a deeply special place in our hearts because it is where Alex’s beloved father, Emmanouil, was born and raised. Luckily, Tim and her dad met, and even though he was not a Greek boy, Dad duly approved. Though he cannot be with us in person, we know he will be celebrating with us from heaven.
It was a no-brainer to invite you all to Crete, the island that holds so much of our story, to celebrate 17 years of love and the beginning of our new adventure as husband and wife.
We cannot wait to share this unforgettable moment with you at our Big Fat Cretan Wedding and create memories that will last a lifetime. 💍✨

Join us for a fun and casual evening at Indigo Seaside Experience, with a delicious local Greek snack, refreshing drinks, stunning views of the Cretan Sea, and meet other guests before the big day!
Step onto the hilltop of Agreco Farm near Rethymnon, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, enjoy amazing local food, sip homemade wine, take in panoramic views, and dance the night away!
End our wedding celebrations in style at Tzamaika Beach Bar, feeling the sand beneath your feet, the Cretan sun on your skin, a drink in hand, and the stunning cliffs as your backdrop.
